Trail-a-Bike and Similar Products

Does anyone have experience using Trail-a-bike or similar products with ebikes?

I am also wondering whether people know of products that would allow for an adult to ride this way (essentially allowing someone to transform a single-rider ebike into an adult tandem bike)?

I'll be following this. I was wondering if its possible to add such a configuration to a RadCity. Seems unlikely.

I have pulled the 20" hitchhiker on a number of bikes, but that's designed for children. I don't think that carrying an adult would work, as there is a lot of side load where it attaches. In my case, the load is on the seat stem, so you have the weight of the rider plus a twisting force on the stem from the trailer.
