Topeak Quicktrack Adapter on my Vado 5.0 + Trunk RX EX II Bag

Wanted to try this, works, only issue is/was that I cannot push it further back for ascetics due to curvature of fender interfering with mounting bracket for plate.
Otherwise, pretty neat.

Lookin' good, but I think I'd be tempted to use the rear opening/grab bar location to fasten the rear clamp?

The mounting provisions are limited....this is the only way it fits. Can you elaborate on your comment, not sure what you mean. Thanks.

On second thought...
You are using screw/fastening holes 1 and 4.
Would it be possible to pull the plate back and use holes 2 and 3 instead?
 
I have the same problem on my bike. I solved it by removing the Topeak quick rack from the bottom of the bag and installing an MIK adapter.

I then mounted an MIK carrier plate which I was able to install farther back on the bike rack

It gave me enough space to carry a canvas tool bag without interfering with the suspension seatpost.
