This was my first bosch battery on my first bosch e-bike. I thought I got it in 2000. It had about 14,000 miles in 2 years when the bike's motor had been running on the spindle bearings. So it went into rotation with two others, mostly on our bosch tandem. That bike has almost 20,000 miles on it. So maybe it has 18 or so thousand miles? For fun, it was checked a few months ago and had 500 charge cycles on it. We used it for our weekday short rides and would get 15 to 20 miles range out of it, depending sometimes less. But our ride today seemed normal, but on the way home, I was putting out more than the usual watts, around 150 watts, and I thought my wife was running out of juice. But it was the battery. It still had 48% left, but we only had a small amount of power, even going to turbo. I dont usually burn 300 calories on that ride its a
11 miles, so maybe 200 or so. We got home with a fair amount of effort. nothing like climbing an 18% grade with only a little assistance. Felt worse than doing it on eco. So I can't complain about its life span, but it was doing ok. Once in a while, I would get the error, there was a battery issue, and I to remove it and put it back in. it also was used on the week we had 113 to 117 degree days where my garmin showed 135 degrees from the pavement heat and may cold days and a crap ton below 40 degree rides.
