Yes, I can shoot: pistol, assault rifle, sniper's rifle, machine pistol, and I know how to throw a grenade; can detonate TNT, too (1988) A PW-33 standard issue pistol in my hand. Left the Army in the rank of a Sergeant (officer cadet).

I am somehow way back on this thread. With talk of how the French like cycling and to bring a baguette. Last point first, that's what the p.a.n. in panniers means, pan is bread in French. It is how you get your daily loaf. Next as to loving bikes, there are different types of bikes and sometimes they cross each other in France.

I'm not a world history buff so can't compare; haven't seen anything negative over here yet with the new leadership though. We'll see how things go.
