Throttle Respect PAS Limits?

we just got our XP yesterday and I was surprised that the throttle doesn't respect the PAS Level top speed. By default, does the throttle always give you a range of speeds between 0 - 20mph, no matter which PAS 1-5 you are using? I know that you can disable throttle in the settings, but is there any way to set a max speed for the throttle that's lower than 20mph, so that I can let my kids ride it at safer speeds?

Yes, I question that also. I just use PAS 1 and if I want to go 20 without pedal assist I just max the throttle.

Funny how it's different with companies. My 5 speed PAS works in conjunction with the throttle. If I'm in PAS 2, for instance, 12mph is max speed on throttle. If I want a full range of throttle speed I have to be in PAS 5.

Seems on lectric. What ever pas you are in 1-5 if you throttle only, it caps at 20 mph.
