The Lectric XP 2.0 vs The New Lectric Lite

Hi guys/gals. First post from So Cal. I'm in my 70's but fortunately am of very good health. I like most of you have been driving myself nuts trying to figure out the best entry level for myself. Because I will use it very infrequently I'm leaning toward the lesser priced ones, ( can move up later ). As the title says I am torn between the Lectric 2.0 and the lite. The lighter the better at my age. It seems like the smaller one being lighter with smaller motor would probably perform about the same as heavier and larger motor. Any suggestions. Thanks

There is a bigger difference in weight(18lbs) than there is in performance(720 vs 850peak watt) imo, as long as your not a speed demon the lighter bike should perform well. Personally if i were going to buy one of these i would purchase the 2.0 Step Thru, you get a bit of extra power and the folding latch is positioned low and out of the way to prevent any pants snagging or knee bonking!
