I hear you.. We are on the same page but I dont watch tv or the news but I read a lot.. so the constant bombardment doesnt affect me... My father inlaw watches it and hes always stressed .. Told him to shut it off.. If the Amish can survive the pandemic without a TV then I am sure most others can... BTW they didnt have a pandemic as the fear wasnt put in their faces 24/7. Yes it passed through the village or whatever they call their cities..

Oh yeah, I watch CNN & MSNBC every day for about 1 minute each, That is if they are not in
commercial which seems to be about 50% of the time. Sometimes I even take a peek at Faux
for comic relief. Tucker Carlson´s blank stare is a hoot; reminds me of Billy on Young Sheldon.

Many, many many people are addicted to the "rush" that anger, fear and hatred give them, and "news" that triggers and amplifies that rush is sought out, like any addict seeks out the substance which will provide their desired feeling. And, just like any addict, there's a nearly impenetrable wall of denial preventing the addicted from acknowledging to themselves how terribly destructive the "substance" they feed on is, and how the pursuit of their rush will destroy them in the end.
