I'm a super nerd for music! My main love is grind and thrash metal but I do openly listen to other stuff. Rock bands.....
Spirit-Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus is a great example of 60's rock done right!
Kings-X Everything is good by these guys.
PAW-Some lump them in with grunge but man they were great, and better than ALL "grunge" bands.
Tiamat-Lean towards goth a little but the Scarred People album has some awesome rock songs.
Honorable Mention:
Anything Devin Townsend-Even him farting would have a killer riff and hook!

Man i have seen Kings X live more than any other band! good times!

Some people liked G&R, and I did see them live when they were starting out, but IMHO, they don't really belong in this thread.
However, I came across this meme that sort of relates to this forum (and this thread) as it's a fun play on the lyrics of "Paradise City" and has a bicycle theme.

Rage Against The Machine
Megadeh (not Metallica you can’t only like one or the other lol)
Audioslave (I mean Soundgarden AND RATM!!)

I love running through the moshpit. The last one I was in, was The Big 4 concert is Palm Springs. My buddy and I came in during Megadeth. I don’t remember the song, but my buddy was drunk and off somewhere. I went right to the pit. When I came home, the next day, my wife thought I got in a fight. I had bruises all around my torso from moshing.

I have seen all but the Doors live. I actually consider the Doors my all time favorite band, they still hold up to this day. Their Strange Days and Morrison Hotel albums were my soundtrack in RVN.
