My name is Colleen and your amazing website was recommended to me by the shop in Clearwater, FL where we purchased my husband's bike. They have taken very good care of us over the years with our bikes, equipment, repairs and advice...through them, I found you.
In February of 2017 we purchased a Raleigh Sprite IE. My husband has some health issues that make walking difficult but with this new bike we went out every morning together. A new problem has now come up and his doctors are recommending a three wheel bike---which he refuses to even consider. I just bought a new stationary bike for him but this then leaves the Raleigh sitting in the garage where it does not deserve to be. We had some great adventures and more fun with this bike... therefore we have decided it is time for this bike to move on so someone else can enjoy it as he (we) did.
My question is pricing---have no idea! The bike is a Raleigh Sprite IE 16/SM-17, silver, purchased 02/25/17, has 2500 miles, has a power assist device, the battery has been carefully tended. We paid $1,899 (new) on 2/24/1917. Would someone please give a suggestion on what price to ask?

I had a look at Tampa Bay Craigslist and I would start with $800 but you might have to go as low as $600 to start getting interest. Nice looking bike, looks nearly new, sorry you need to sell it. Maybe your shop could try and sell it?

Wow, What a great looking bike and Raleigh is a quality product. I'm guessing your bike should sell promptly in your area.
I just sent your posting to a friend who lives in Clearwater. I agree $800 -ish or maybe try $900 and drop to $800 .
I say $900 only because the bike is in such great condition.

As for a three wheeled e-Bike aka a trike, I completely agree with your husband. I know how he feels. I could never see myself on one, but that's
because I'm still able to ride my traditional e-bike. If or when that day may come, I really think I'd have to readjust my thinking.

As I'm sure you know the joys of getting out and e-Bike adventuring are just so wonderful. To give that up is not something I'd take lightly.
In fact if it meant not riding or changing my pig-headedness about e-trikes, I really think I'd reconsider and I'd encourage your husband to do
so as well. There are some really fine e-trikes out there.

Correction..When referred to an e-Trike, above I was thinking of Recumbent ( Thanks CSH : ) and as Craig said. They are really cool. They
have all the hi-tech components that a traditional e-road bike has and they are stable to all get out ( I'm assuming )

As I type this I'm not a fan of recumbents for a couple of dumb reasons, but if it meant not riding at all I'd get with the program. They
look like a lot of fun. If I were a recumbent 6 weeks instead of my Trek commuter e-bike, when the bike and I fell over landing on my shoulder
I wouldn't be in the pain I'm in now. It's pretty tough to fall over on a recumbent : )

Thank you for the input. I did look at a couple of recumbent bikes but the back wheel base on both was too wide to fit over the bridge we cross getting into/out of the park we love to ride in. The indoor exercise bike that I just bought for him is a recumbent type so will have to see if it might get him thinking along those lines.

Many "Acoustic" Recumbent bikes are NOT 3 wheel..................
Maybe a custom retrofit on a 2 wheeler, could be just the Ticket .
