Temperature sensor

Hi Thomas, I’m not suggesting there was any problem at all with the gears (nylon or steel), I’m just offering a suggestion; that the nylon gear is meant to fail at high temperatures to protect the motor wiring.

I've seen fried controllers and motor assemblies, with intact nylon gears. What you say makes sense but experience seems to indicate that's not often the case. Nylon gears are our poorest selling replacement part.
