I would love to see something like this in a three wheeled semi-recumbent pedal ebike. But in the meantime, this might make more people comfortable with the idea of an electric scooter/motorcycle as it will not fall over at a stop sign. And it will carry a bag of groceries and a second passenger. I wish it had more cargo capacity though.

There is a much lighter electric and human powered leaning trike. Here is a pedal e-trike that leans and appears to be available today:

I just wrote to them to see if they are still in business...the website seems very dated. NOTE ADDED: I heard back from them and they are still selling this e-trike.

I could see this being very practical as an errand runner kind of ebike, or for anyone who is intimidated by the way a bicycle can tip over. It can come with front and rear baskets and is not really that heavy for a trike. Without the battery/motor, it only weighs 38 pounds.
