Looking for suggestions for upgrading the front fork to one with air suspension. Ride mostly on pavement, trying to smooth out the ruts in the roads. Existing fork is a Suntour Mobie A32 for 29" tires.
Yes I have a thru axle. I looked on Suntour's website and they offer a MOBIE 45 AIR LOR DS 15QLC32 which is for a 700C platform. My existing fork is stamped 29 even though the tires are 28" x 2.0". Called Suntour and they said they don't make the 29's after market in the Mobie line.
don't know what a boost hub is. Have attached some pictures of my fork. I also thought the sizes were interchangeable, but I did note that Suntour does offer different sizes and I was afraid to order if I was uncertain that it would fit. They don't offer the Mobie line in a 29er for aftermarket.
Thanks for the youtube video. I don't believe I have a boost hub. My suspension fork provides for only 63mm of travel. The forks you sent are 100mm+. Those would change the performance and stability of the bike, so I need a fork that has 60mm of travel plus or minus. Additionally because the bike has a head light and fenders the fork needs connections to secure these (this is why they label the fork ebike ready).
Nothing special about the suspension fork which has a coil spring in it and is at the cheap end of the spectrum for a pricey bike.
