Hi ,

I am testing the the Summit 2 vs Discover 3. I am interested in power for holding higher speeds on paved trails, some hills. On paper it seems the Summit with its higher torque should be better. On another site they tested both bikes in separate tests and the Summit seems like it would be peppier based on on the hill test. I have test ridden both the bikes around the shop test area and for what I could tell the Discover seemed like the winner. Has anybody tested both models and have an opinion you would like to share?

After reading the test results I plan on going back and testing again. And then in a week and 1/2 the shop is doing an event with the a Velotric rep on site and I plan to finalize my decision after a third test that day and/or more info from the rep.

I was at the Velotric dealer a few days ago and they have 2 new models there not listed on Velotric's website, The Tempo and the GoMad. I went to look at the new Discover 3 but after seeing it in person I wasn't too impressed, the Discover 3 is a very tall big bike and not exactly what I was expecting. The new Tempo I really liked as it is very light weight and looks more like a traditional bike, something I find very interesting. I have a Velotric Breeze and the Tempo was slimmer and trimmer and lighter then the Breeze. Dealer said he can sell them but not allowed to advertise them until Velotrics official launch date later this month. Tempo has 27.5" wheels and the Gomad has 20" fat tires and a utility bike style.
