I'm surprised nobody has discussed the discrepancy between the promise to ship out ebikes in "waves" based on who ordered first, and shipping ebikes out based on colour instead. I've been told that they can do both, ship by colour AND by order date. Just wondering how the early backers feel about having their shipment bumped back by several months, and people who ordered "the right colour" a week ago getting their shipment first.

And that's the sad part. It's like starving someone for months (May to October?) , then offering up a big bowl of steaming dog crap. They'll be happy to get that, too.

I think you'd be surprised. The first time riding an e bike is a pretty fun experience, even on a crappy one. There will be a good bunch of people who will be satisfied with the low end specs, simply because they haven't tried anything else. And let's face it, low end is what is being paid for here.
