I sold a Rondo today. It is a Polish bike with a variable geometry fork. Very nice. $2200 analog, steel frame. I was dropping off bribes to the LBS in the form of refreshments and helped a 16 yo make the sale. She gave me a conversion referral today. Lexie is so nice. I showed her fitting techniques and about flipping the stem to change the angle. It was fun to play bike shop. Steel is real. I also sold a second wheelset at 650b wide for off-road. I stay away from E. Europe Animal Porn. No thanks, leggy athletic girls are better, as with the vid. 1/4 horsepower with a crap cap at 15.3 sounds kind of useless. I would go analog and light over doing that.
See 'Girl Talk.' It is not in the pot, or ready to be flushed yet. Yes, I do like to give Spandex Men a hard time and have great fun at their expense, @Marci jo. We mostly all do. Especially the Specialized One from E. Europe who boasts, posts, and has a 15-cent bike that is made in China. 15.3 Mph, correction. But still its Chinese, hunky, and slow. Note: A lot of great tech is made in China. And so are people worth building relationships with. I just disagree with Spandex Man's disparagements of Asia. Particularly when he is posting rides on a bike that is made there while pretending it is not.
