ST1 versus OHM XU700 or XS750

Hi everyone,

I am considering the OHM versus Stromer. I would like to hear your feedback/opinions in comparing these. The OHM seems to be lighter, better acceleration, and even more battery; yet, the Stromer is of course, considered better looking by most. Also, the Stromer seems to be selling a lot more than OHM. Had any of you Stromer owners considered an OHM? What did or would make you choose Stromer over OHM?

thanks kindly

Ohm uses the very large (but thin) BionX D 500 DV.

Last year, a very well selected group of electric bicycles started for a upward mountain race. The ST2 has beaten them all!

That looks like BionX old version 350 -- would love to see the D series 500 perform in that race against the Stromer 2!

One of the riders told me - as far as I remember - all were 45km/h year 2014 bikes, except the Maxon was 25km/h.

Honestly, I had to add, that the strength of the rider was a very important factor. The result has to be seen as "men & machine" performance.

you are right -- would need to do same test with same rider on each bike over days -- for ex he does ride 30x, on each bike 3x then average out times...

Then, the Speedped (the green one on the right) might win. But it will be hard to beat the ST2: The large battery lasts longer with high voltage then the smaller ones of the competitors. And ST2 in better in climbing than the ST1 Mountain 33 edition.

The ST2 costs over $6K, while the OHM XU700 costs $4200. I am asking for comparison to ST1.
