Greetings. First post. Thank you all for the discussion of the Creo. Been researching. Taken me a week or two to get through the 38 pages. Skimmed parts that were more in the weeds than I needed. Have test ridden Comp Carbon, Comp Carbon EVO, and E5 in XL. Leaning towards EVO, though not sure I need the drop seat post or flared bars. However, I do like the sage green. I am 6', long torso, short legs. Took up road biking in 2009 with a Roubaix. Rode for 5 years or so, then got busy with other stuff. I'm heavy. I want to get back into cycling. Neck hurts after test riding Creo. Not sure if it's because I haven't been riding in a while, or due to the more aggressive geometry compared to the Roubaix. Very interested in the modifications that could be made to the stem. Saw the comments on this aspect in this thread and the reference to the other thread. RMK, looks as if your setup has raised the handlebars quite a bit. I should go back and read the posts carefully to see what to suggest to my LBS, as they are not sure what else they can do besides flip the stem. They also don't normally try modifications to the bike before it's sold. I had them take some measurements on Roubaix and Creo. Seems as if I need at least 1.5 inches more height on the stem to get seat and handlebar relationship similar. I'm in the California South Central Coast area. Which other threads are good for general Creo SL discussions? Thanks all. Love the kindness and courtesy shown here. Respectful, humble, tolerant, etc.
