Specialized Creo clicking

I have a Creo and on steep hills standing on pedals I get a clicking noise from front bottom bracket area Change chain and pedals but still there any advise

I always have trouble figuring out where the noise is coming from, although clicking seems like drivetrain noise. Is it there if the motor is off?

Not tried that yet I can’t reproduce it on flat ground however hard I push against brakes. Will do it next ride when going up a steep bit

Clicking noise crank area standing on pedals up hill LBS adjusted but worse taking it back anyone experienced this

You should post this in the Specialized forum, and in the Facebook Creo forums.

I’ve heard reports of this from loose motor bolts and, believe it or not, a loose thru axel.
Have posted on all three Facebook forums had no one have answer

Did you put grease on pedal threads before installing ?

I have had my Creo just over a month, really enjoying it. noticed the other day a slight creak when out of the seat. Tightened up the left crank arm with Allen key, but today it returned and when holding the crank arm there is 1-2mm of movement on the bottom bracket. Took both crank arms off but can't see anything to adjust or tighten. I'm assuming it must need opening the motor and perhaps there is some adjustment in there?
I had the bike delivered so taking it back isn't really an option, I assume I will have to find a specialized dealer to get investigate.

Had my Creo nine months 4000 miles Had clicking standing on pedals Took it to a Specialized Dealer New motor require, fitted and back on road total time 3 weeks

Blimey that's crazy, sounds like that's going to be what I need.

Took it too Specialized Dealer in Chichester they diagnosed it ordered new motor took about a week to come. They fitted it but as I did not purchase from them had to pay labour cost and get reimbursed from selling dealer That was Tredz sent them the invoice and proof of purchase and they refunded me the money. Once it was diagnosed quick but had a job finding a dealer that was not too busy. The very helpful dealer was Hargroves

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Last night at work I also emailed specialized who replied this morning saying the same thing. Take it to a specialized dealer, they will order a new motor, also said tell them to put in a warranty claim to specialized for their labour.

I have the same problem. It's intermittent and mainly occurs on grades with a bit of load. I've taken it into bike shop 3 times they say they can't duplicate it. I have a video of it and shared with shop. Said they sent it to Specialized. It's been a week and haven't heard a word. This is getting frustrating.

In the end I located my clicking, it was the rear cassette. Luckily I have a tool so tightened it and clicking gone!
I must admit I have had to do the same again once more.
I should add this was further clicking after I had the motor replaced because of loose cranks.

That was what the shop thought initially. Cassette was a bit loose. They tighten it but noise is still there. They've also removed cranks, re-greased and retighten motor mounts and cranks. No change.

The only other thing I can think of I've had before on other carbon framed bikes was when I had not lubed the chain enough.

I did have to tighten the cassette twice, although after the first tighten the noise was gone for a couple of weeks.

My shop soon diagnosed it and new motor fitted. I’ve heard a few have required this. Contacts Specialized direct our UK one was most helpful.

Talked to bike shop today. Specialized said to file a warranty claim. Want pictures of bike and serial number.
