Specialized Como SL 5.0 - Redshift seat post compatible?

I’m trying to find out if the Specialized Como SL 5.0 is compatible with a Redshift seat post. Currently have a Luna Stealth with redshift and it is the difference between extreme pain and no pain at all. Only reason to look at another ebike is for extra gears and maybe a bit more battery, my Stealth has 3 gears and the battery at level 2 of 3 lasts about 5 miles. That, and I really need a lower bar/step through. I have my Luna set up right now very nicely and love it otherwise. Need 45 lbs or less because I have to manhandle it every day into a tiny elevator.

No it’s not. From what I see Redshift only offers 27.2 diameter.

For what it’s worth, I run a Kinekt post instead. So here’s what I’d recommend.

Buy a Kinekt here: https://cirruscycles.com/products/kinekt-active-suspension-seatpost

I’d get the XR in Aluminum at 420mm and 31.6 mm diameter. (I called Cirrus and they’re moving to only selling the XR and just including all the springs). The nice thing with aluminum Kinekt posts is your LBS can cut it down if it’s too long. If the 350 mm is too short for you, you can’t make it longer.

Then go here and get a 31.6 to 34.9 mm seat post shim. Then you can make it all work and your back will celebrate.

That’s what I’d do if I were you.

I also had to use a shim to get the redshift to 30.9 for the Luna. The Como looks like it has a super weird looking seat post tube, very, very wide.

The hard part is I don’t think you’ll ever find a 27.2 to 34.9 shim so that’s why I suggest the other post.

Could possibly stack to shims inside each other. Cane Creek make a 27.2 to 31.6 and a 31.6 to 34.9. The OP could reach out to Cane Creek and ask.

This seat post works like a dream cloud, with shimming.
