spare tire bike rack...

I have a Yakima rack over my spare tire on the back of my jeep. I looked at the specs online and it says max weight is only 35lbs. Does anyone make a rack for the spare tire that will hold a couple heavy ebikes?

After further investigation I found that the specs say 35 lbs. per bike weight limit so I guess if I remove the batteries first I could probably get by.

Is this something you want to chance? I do not want to avoid your bike at 70MPH , you wont be covered by insurance i would not think because you were not following manufacture's recommendation...think of a 50lb bike being thrown at you while driving...and do you like your bike??

Yeah your probably right. I will just have to look into some other type of hitch mount.

I have 2 Stromers on a rack that says 2x60, i pull off everything , it still bounces so much when I watch it I have to look away, even when i just have just 1 bike on it. thx for making me safer
