sorta off topic, first time doing drop bar tape on my specialized bikes!

changed out my slightly frayed bar tape (from a minor fall). took two tries on each side to get it sort of the way i wanted it, which was mostly about not having to use electrical or finishing tape at the top part. it's got a bit of a bulge up there, which actually feels pretty good when on the bar tops (where i never, ever, ever ride) but otherwise i'm happy with it. this silly tape has the little stars only on one edge of the strip, so if you wrap it in one direction, like i did the first time, you cover them all up. did that on the left but not the right, so i had to redo them both lol. did better the second time anyway!

Nicely done!
Next go round try these drop bar gel pads from Planet BIke. Your hands and wrists will thank you.

it's funny, at some point early on i started riding with gloves that have a little padding... and now when i ride without them my hands are a little annoyed 😅
