Hi all - hoping I can get some good recommendations for a new bike. I had purchased an Elektra Townie Go 7D which I just sold. I was looking to upgrade to a few more features and the Townie was on the large side for me. I am 5'2, small frame female. I looked at the RadCity 5 Step Thru but it seems like a lot of bike for me. I was looking into the Blix Aveny but it's a big risk financially since it is online only. I keep looking but really would like to narrow the search down. I have a Trek Navigator 16.25" regular bike that fits me well. I'm not looking for anything too high end just something more than basic. Suspension would be nice but I primarily ride on pavement and occasional trails. Thanks so much - really getting overwhelmed at this point.

Test ride as many demonstrator bikes as possible and narrow down your choice by finding first a bike that fits and is comfortable to ride then compare various bikes by the features they have. Consider your requirements, how far do you want to ride, what type of riding (pavement or off road) or a bike capable of both. Consider what is your budget or maximum price point. Bike brand doesn't really matter as much as finding something that suits your requirements, is comfortable to ride and affordable within your price range.

Congrats Michele on your new ebike! You are in for a world of fun.
Are you getting the new 2022 model or an existing one?

Oh, and don’t forget ”accessories” to complete your outfit.
- A bright light so you are seen by drivers but I’m pretty sure the Como might have one.
- A mirror to see what’s coming up behind you. I use Mirrycle brand but other brands available.
- A suspension seat post, if your budget can swing it. Really helps to smooth out the bumps.

And some pics for us to enjoy! 😃🚴🏾‍♂️😄
