Solved chain dropping problem (Creo)

Like others, my chain was frequently dropping off the single chainring on my 2021 Creo Expert Carbon, especially when shifting into the highest gear (smallest cog) with light pedal torque. Sucks when everyone on your group ride stops while you wrestle the chain back on. The original chainring is a Praxis Wave, 110 BCD, 46T. Figured the teeth had worn some after 10K+ miles, so I replaced it with a Praxis Works 1x 110X5 CX/Gravel 46T chainring from Power Meter City. The teeth are really long on this 'ring. The original chainring was threaded and the new one was not, so I had to buy five chainring bolts from Wolf Components. I've put over 100 miles since installing and the chain hasn't dropped once - a huge relief.

Thanks. This is good information. Yes... the bolt screws are essential to ensure compatibility.

I installed the Wolftooth chain ring about a year ago on my 2022 Creo. I changed the chain and the cassette at the same time. Since then I have not
dropped a chain. It is an effective solution.
Just wish WT would make a 104 BCD 44t - and Garbaruk doesn't sell to US. So, I replace my chain - a lot. Only get 5 or 6 months out of one or about 1500 miles. Starts dropping like crazy - thank goodness for clutch but can only do so much. Have thought about getting chain guard like a Creo but not sure on the fit.

Oh, no....

Karl, now I have a 38T installed on my VSL. Why don't you install a similar WT? Also, there is a good Chinese brand Deckas: please check Amazon.
Stefan - I should go to 38tooth but my bike is perfect as it is in my opinion. Changing anything is an issue for me. Just giving up my Pathfinder Probliss 38's has me worried as I transition to gravel king 40s this season. Every change has a minor affect and worried about the sum of all of them making my ride feel differently.

Those are similar to a file tread cyclocross tire. They should do well for you. I have the X1 Plus on the Pinarello, with TPU tubes.
