The Battery is 48 Volt 13 Amp Hour. Always properly charged and stored, in fact it hasn't had all the charge cycles it takes to achieve full capacity.
I chose this bike because the pedal set is just a bit ahead of the saddle making it much easier on the knees than bikes with their pedals straight down. This bike will get you out on the paths or streets and is great exercise. It's not an electric motorcycle. It's a bicycle with assist that allows you to enjoy bicycle riding!
