Sizing Question

Hi folks, I'm considering an Urban rush or Wabash. I typically ride a 56cm road bike and am 5'11". Naturally I'd ride a large and make it fit me, but finding these bikes is becoming more difficult so I'm limited to what's available. Right now, that's a medium, and I'm wondering if it will fit me or if it'll be way too small. The reach measurements are very close to my road bikes, but the seat tube is short and the head tube is a little low. Any thoughts from actual riders?

Fit is very personal, much more than height and reach, but you know that. I rode a 54cm road bike, and ride a Large flat bar gravel bike. I thought that it would be too big, but it's not. Don't buy a bike in the wrong size because you just gotta have it. That can be an expensive mistake.

Did that with my 1st ebike — a fairly upright 70 lb hub-drive commuter. This was my 1st bike purchase after 20+ years of very little riding.

Tested a medium, the only size in stock. In retrospect, I should have held out for the greater reach of the large frame. But I was reluctant to add the weight, the medium seemed close enough at the time, and everything else about the bike was a go. So I took the medium without trying a large.

Now that I have a properly fitting bike, I see the error of my ways. The commuter still sees use as a utility/beach-riding bike, but it's now too twitchy and cramped for my taste.
