Richmond Night Market. The banner on yellow stand on the right features " Kai's signature Quail egg skewer ". Perhaps you may prefer to wash that down with a steaming cup of Panda Jelly from right next door?View attachment 157678
Almost nothing surprises me anymore although the quail egg skewer sounds intriguing. It seems like the more bizarre midway or public market eats get the hotter an item they become.

Here’s just a sample of what they’ve been serving up at the Calgary Stampede this year. A Kool aid fried chicken sandwich, mustard and ketchup ice cream, pickled French fries, cotton candy light sabers and Neon hot dogs. Go figure.

Still, the Panda Jelly on offer just seems wrong on soooo many levels.

It’s said that mountain biking at a young age builds character and skills so that kids can face whatever obstacles life throws at them. If that’s the case, I think these two are off to a good start. 😎👍

Hey PD
Is this an annual event, what's the story/history behind this,
looks to be fun, big fat tires and short foot ski's and mash the throttle,
Beep Beep I am coming thru.........LOL

Megavalanche is the longest MTB DH race in the world and hundreds flock to Alpe D’huez each year to try and claim their minute or two of fame. You can’t just sign up for it as there are qualifying races and the best 350 racers in several different categories sprint down the mountain in waves over two days. As usual, it’s utter mayhem up at the start and ultimately attrition and 2600 meters of elevation drop whittles the field down to a few dozen in the men’s Megavalanche division. Sacre Bleu!!

Thanks PD
I think that is above my pay grade, I would love the snow part,
but would have to think real hard on the dirt part.
In MHO, that's insane at those speeds, I DON'T heal that quick any more...LOL
Yeah, that's another example of youth being wasted on the young. There comes an age where the spirit may be willing, but the flesh is weak.
