Trek Fetch 2+. A fat pig that’s fun to ride but can also haul scrap metal or groceries or another bike or a lot of beer….

How is that center stand attached?

Never mind I found out

Two things about that stand. It doesn’t life either wheel clear of the ground, so if either wheel is sitting on a slight bump the kickstand is clear of the ground. It’s just a bit but it’s kinda stupid.

the second thing is that there is an extension for the tab you push it down with, to clear the tubs if you add them. It’s just long enough to hit the ground if you are riding in a ”spirited” fashion. Mine has been rather severely ground down after a few ground strikes in turns.

Thanks, maybe you could place a shim to lower the mount and lift the wheel higher.

I have a stuck Schlumpf. A stuck Schlumpf sucks.
I am trying to heat it and cool it to draw in oil to the threads. It is so stuck that I might break the frame trying to get it off. I have an 18" pipe wrench on the lockring and am hitting the end of it with a large hammer to get it to budge.
I love Dutch Bikes.

There had to be focus groups and marketing and advertising MBAs, Linguists, and consumer behavior Psychologists working for years to land on calling a product a Schlumpf.
You too can achieve a waistline like a Schlumpf.
there is a cream for it
Yes, it prevents chafing between the thighs and the resulting Schlumpf sores. A new flavor of Ben & Jerry's anyone?

An explanation of what you are looking at above: See the red dot on the rear chain? That is the midpoint. Because of the extra 120mm of extra wheelbase length between the bottom of the seat tube at the BB along the chainstay and the rear rim along with the 50-t first inside cog, it took two chains of equal length. Never will two quicklinks be on the pull side or in the derailleur and cogs an the same time. Those tires are 622-50's now making it a 29'er. And they have 3 layers of K, for Kevlar. Those are fast tires. Note the subtle color of the wire to the battery, but it is black on the underside of the motor. About 30mm forward of that see the through-frame wire to the display entering the downtube. The chainring is steel with a pie pan shape offset bringing in the chainline to hit first gear. The chain is sluffing-off some white powder flakes on the lower tensioner because it was boiled in wax for hours. And note that the motor is above the lowest portion of the chainring, preventing direct strikes by big rocks. Low gear is 0.84 for epic climbs at 864W max power. 15% grades are cake with this setup.

If Dr. Seuss were to write a book about a Schlumph, on a bike, what would it look like?

were all too scared to comment, what I take from it is Stefan is not vain and is willing to present himself as it is, probably having no thread context for the pic is a bit jarring.

I changed it, respecting all sentiments and your general feedback.
The quad 'Bears on Wheels' is looking good - almost finished, it just needs about 15 feet of wax boiled chain that is ready to go on.
