I’m curious why Zen advertises on their site free shipping to the US yet when go to order a bike they let you that they’re covering most of the shipping and import fees but they tack on an additional $110 for shipping. This is not free shipping and should not be advertised as such.

Thanks for this note. This is because certain customers live in areas that are not covered by our UPS agreement, and they charge $150 for delivery to such areas. UPS designates zones (B1, B2, and B3), and specific zones are charged at different rates. So, we are often quite reasonable with customers, and they do understand it. If you analyze our pricing with any other Bosch E-bike with belt drive and dual batteries, you will see a clear value proposition. As a result, our customers are very understanding. Our staff are very responsive; Is there anything else we can do to help?
