True, Stefan - even this one on sale was $200 more than the FABulous deal I got on my first one last year.Never happens.
I think they're actually anticipating getting some I the new models in!Bummer!
Never fear, you'll find something that suits you.
Actually, at present, I'm surprised by the fact that e-bikes go on sale. The norm now days seems to be a mark up in price due to the short supply,
E+2...Sorry to hear that. Was it a LaFree+1 or +2?
My second ebike purchase was a Class 3 Specialized Vado. Couldn't be happier with the two bikes, one for the gravel roads, one for the paved.
Carefull there, @Stefan Mikes. You could ruin your reputation by recommending a Como over a Vado. Next thing you'll be recommending a SL...A Specialized Como, @PatriciaK?
I dunno Stefan, the bike I´m on now cost less than half what I paid for the first one, & itś a much better all around bike.Never happens.
We always remember the one that got away ...It reminds me of the time I put a Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 lens into my cart on Amazon...it was Cyber Monday and it was listed for $200. It is a $2400 lens. Then I saw another lens also listed at the same price. I got greedy and tried putting more into my cart. Long story short I never got anything due to my messing around.
Might happen I found Como to be an excellent bike for its purpose (especially in the Euro edition). I might go for the SL if I'm losing my body weight and improving physically at the rate it's happening right now Mind you, I was able to take my Vado in my hands, carry down the staircase, carry it over my backyard and get it the whole way down to the cellar/garage without wheels touching the ground because I didn't want to get it soiled after the wash and lubing today...Carefull there, @Stefan Mikes. You could ruin your reputation by recommending a Como over a Vado. Next thing you'll be recommending a SL...
I'm actually not feeling too bad about it anymore, and still thinking about the Flow. My East coast needs are very different from my West coast needs - much flatter terrain, shorter rides because it's a city, etc., and we are there less than half the year, so the bike wouldn't be ridden as much...
Having said that, I can see myself "thinking" myself right out of this one, too. Delivery is not till the end of October, which would only give me a few weeks of riding before heading west again...
Considering something completely different:Sorry to hear you missed the sale... what model are you now considering?
