Service issues

I live in Orange County Southern California. Other than brakes, tire changes etc, none of the local bike stores will service electronic (controller and related) issues for any mail order bike. This is a major issue when electric problems that are technical What is your area?

A very common issue, gets discussed continually on here. Lots of LBS hate comes out every time. It's my opinion is that if you can't troubleshoot and do the repair, buy local. If you order on line to save money, but can't fix it, you'll spend more latter trying to get it fixed.
