Technically they aren’t tubeless ready tires meaning the rubber is made to be completely sealed however I have seen them setup tubeless without an issue. Can I run the Super Moto-X tubeless?

Thanks Chris!Technically they aren’t tubeless ready tires meaning the rubber is made to be completely sealed however I have seen them setup tubeless without an issue.
2240 mm or 88.18898mmGreetings, does anyone know the correct circumference of the Super Moto X 27.5 x 2.40 (62-584) tires? Want to set my kiox correctly but don't see them listed even on Schwalbe's site.
Thanks, 2240 is for 60-584 tires, not 62-584 which isn't listed in their circumference chart (hence my asking)2240 mm or 88.18898mm
Attached is Schwalbe's pdf with all technical info and specs.
From the Schwalbe tech specs:
27,5"
54-584 2195 mm
57-584 2215 mm
60-584 2240 mm
The difference between 57-584 and 60-584 is 25mm. Thus dividing the difference of 25mm by 3 (difference between 57 & 60) gives a value of 8mm circumference per mm of tire width. Thus for a 62-584 and approximate circumference of 2246mm (2240+16) or 88.425" should be very close.
but 54 to 57 is 20mm (some men just want to watch the world burn) close enough for my needs
Here’s something to ponderTo be more accurate you can measure the circumference yourself at the tire pressure typical for your riding style.
Interesting. Here's my take…Would the vertical tyre radius measurement from the hub centre to the bottom of the tyre, (measured with the tyre fully compressed from the combined weight of the ebike, rider and any additional baggage) be more accurate
This would be the true rolling radius of the tyre.
TrueInteresting. Here's my take…
- When a tyre is squashed by the weight of a rider, the tread is flattened; therefore, the tyre is no longer a circle.
- The reduced distance from hub centre to the flattened section of the tyre in contact with the road is not a radius.
What I do is somewhat different! We're splitting hairs now to get the ultimate correct speed reading.
It looks like the tyre is unavailable in the U.S. but available in the EU.Is it discontinued now?
