Roadster touring off motor pedaling

Is the Roadster able to be pedaled off of the motor without resistance or does it still feel like an ebike with the motor off?

There's noticable drag in the drive unit with the assist turned off.

I have a 2020 ROADSTER VARIO. Although it's my second ebike and I hadn't ridden an analog bike for 30 years prior to owning an ebike, I notice no motor drag when pedaling with motor assist OFF. Other than moderate/severe inclines and strong headwinds, I use OFF the majority of the time.
