RideDash Evo Phone Notification

Hello! Has anyone gotten the "phone notifications" to work with the RideDash Evo? Its not mentioned in the manual other than this as far as I can tell. I'm assuming it'll interact with the app and show when you have text messages or things like that. Maybe a future function?

All it says is: Notification: Indicates that there are new or unread messages on a smartphone. Only via the RideControl app

Also, according to Giant's website, the RideDash Evo is described as "The low-profile screen shows ride information including speed, distance, battery range and Navigation, heart rate and fitness require the app to be connected."

However nowhere in the manual does is show how to set up navigation display or heart rate monitors. Does anyone know how to do this?
