Reset Como 2.0 to miles from kilometers

I just bought a Como 2.0 at a deep discount, and I am very pleased with its performance. I considered the Como 3.0 but the 2.0 actually seemed to have more power going uphill, and it wasn't worth $800 to get lights and upgraded electronics to sync to Mission Control. I am stumped, however, by the directions to change from metric to imperial on the controls. I tried long holding the set button twice to get to a screen where I could toggle from km to miles, but never got there. Any tips how to do it? Also, is it possible to upgrade to the new Mission Control-compatible electronics and, if so, worth it?
