Well I'm happy to report that after 1200 miles and a bunch more punctures, (mostly small nails and wood splinters) I am finally swapping out the tire for a brand new one, This one has been run bald and to the point of some of the threading coming through. The patch amazingly has held nice and strong the whole time.
Replace tire???
