Hello!
This is my first post on EBR. I have owned an Amego EV Infinity since April of 2020. I've always charged the battery while it is on the bike. I did remove it once or twice just after I purchased it.
I just can't get the battery off the bike. I turn the key to the unlocked position and see some sort of post move between the lock and the battery in the space between. However, I think the post is not moving far enough to allow the release of the battery. It is not a big deal right now but if the battery fails, I'm pooched.
Does anybody have a photo of the locking mechanism so I can try to jimmy the lock? Or some other suggestions? I contacted Amego but they suggested that I bring it in for a service call. That is not very convenient since I live about 100 kilometres away. I also tend to do most of my service work myself.
