Reflectors (resource thread)

Recently I ordered new tires from Bike Components in Germany. It is about $23 US and a week to get the order.

As an afterthought, I also ordered these inexpensive busch+müller Spoke Reflectors 309/4HO with Headers.

They are actually made in Germany.

These reflectors attach slidably to any two adjacent spokes and once clipped in, cannot fall off or work loose. You can remove them by depressing the locking tangs and sliding them toward the hub.

The black plastic clips also rotate in the amber plastic body to match the spoke angle.

Reflectivity appears to be first rate.

Wald basket reflector mount. Designed to fit Wald wire baskets. I found when I put things in my basket it obscured my handlebar light so I remounted it on the fork crown under the basket, but this meant I had to relocate the front reflector and this cheap little bracket was just right.

Reflective fabric and tape. I'm considering getting some tape to sew a band on the rear of my panniers. There are a couple of designers making reflective clothing out of this material.
