I am a vet motocross guy who used to downhill mounntain bike 15 yrs ago. Looking to buy an emtb to get back into shape.
I am a bigger guy that is hard on equipment so I am looking for durability and power. I have tried a levo with the Brose and Rocky Mountain with their proprietary motor.
Liked both but I know the levo's have had a rough last year with motor issues (know 3 people who have have at least 1 motor replaced) and the Rocky Mountain just has a small support network in my area. I have tried a bike with the old E7000 and was not really imressed. Have not tried the E8000 or a Bosch yet. I have watched tons of reviews and tried reading alot of reviews but no one really weighs in on durabilty.
In your opinion what is the most durable emtb motor? I know everyone wants to be diplomatic but I just want an opinion from someone who have experience with multiple motors.
Thank You,
Scott P.
