Radwagon Storage Option

I was in Home Depot today and stumbled upon a Ridgid tool storage box. I bought it on the spot and some hardware to mount it. At 22 inches, it is a nice size for the rear rack.

I wanted to make it easy on / easy off so I put a pannier hook on the back with a bolt/wingnut in front to hold it down. Hook the back end down, thread the bolt through a hole in the rack platform, and tighten with the wingnut. It easily holds two shopping bags.

There may be better ways to mount it but this was the first I tried and it works. I've put some foam on the bottom to keep it steady.

Well done. And can apply to nearly any e-bike....seems a shame to hide it in a brand specific sub-forum (hint, hint)

It utilizes the RW rack with its bamboo deck. Not sure it would work on anything but a cargo bike and on those a different attachment system would likely be necessary.

Mine came from an old set of panniers I had upgraded the hooks on but you can get them here: https://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FWSA-HJH

I also added a couple of small dense foam pads to the bottom on either side of the hook with double sided foam tape. It is easier if you turn it around and put the hook end toward the seat and the wingnut on the back end.
