RadWagon bumper bike rack suggestions;

If I get the RW I'll need to transport on back of a Honda Element as it won't fit inside. Has anyone any success in finding a bumper hitch bike rack for RW that accommodates wheel base and weight? WA-AZ type moves.

That is a pricey carrier and I wonder if the 66#/bike capacity listed would have issues with a 75# RadWagon on it? Maybe I am putting the cart before the horse as I have not test ridden one yet.

I would think as long as you don't exceed 132lbs total you'd be ok. That said, have you tried getting the RW in your car with the front wheel off? We get mine inside our Prius that way.

Wow, it fits in a your car? That could be the solution. I haven't bought one yet and am still trying to figure out the ins and outs of transporting.

Yes, we have to put the back seat down and take the front wheel off, and it's heavy and unwieldy, but we can get it in and get the back hatch shut.

Have you tried hauling/towing the Prius with the RW yet?

Ha, not yet! Unfortunately it might be awhile, as I cracked my seat tube recently and am waiting on a warranty repair.

I use the hollywood bike rack and its works well for the RadWagon. http://www.hollywoodracks.com/bike-racks/ It can fit two bikes and hitches on to our SUV

I went with the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Tray Hitch Rack (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DMMCIMQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1). You have to also order a set of the fat tire holders for each fat bike (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K69WO2W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It's allot less money than the others and holds my Rad Rover and my wife's Rad Mini perfect on the back of my Toyota Corolla.

I may be reading specs incorrectly but looks to me like capacity of this rack is 2 bikes of 35# each.
I believe even one bike is pushing the capacity of this rack but I may be missing something.

I think you're looking at the shipping weight. Saris's web site says, "Carries 2 bikes, up to 60 lbs/bike" (https://www.saris.com/product/freedom-2). I also take the batteries off to make sure I'm as light as possible.

@walawn the rack fits 1 ¼" and 2" hitches. The tubing from the hitch is 1 ¼". They use a spacer to make it fit the 2" hitch. The cross piece that supports the bikes is about (guessing) 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" size.

I had to remove one of the cargo kick boards off each bike or they rubbed on the other bikes front tire and the bikes would not sit straight on rack?

Any idea what’s wrong?
