RadRover Alternate Fenders?

The reviews I've seen of that type of fender makes it sound like they're not the type you want if you want to be completely protected (like if you're using your bike to commute to work, like I do). I almost got the City model for the fenders (my non-electric commuting bike has them, and they work wonderfully), but I've always wanted a fat bike, so I went with the Rover. Now as winter approaches I'm getting a bit worried.

Those were the standard fenders when I ordered my Rover back in 2016. I ordered a pair and ended taking them off after a few months because:
- fronts don't cover much and you will get wet or get debris on your lower half (like doggy poo)
- floating rear fender covered about the same as the fronts and didn't prevent water splash on your back side
- rear fender would slide to side-to-side a lot and I needed to tighten down weekly
- I added a Topeak rear rack and the floating rear rack would rattle against the rack constantly
- it was also a pain to re-adjust the fender when I raised/lowered the seat for family member that wanted to ride the rover
- it was also a tight fit and took some additional adjustments for the rear fender to fit between the Topeak rack

My Topeak rear rack with bag pretty much covered about the same area as the rear fender and didn't add much other than extra headaches. I ended up going with Planet Bike Big Buck Fat Front Fender, eBay, $30. It covers a lot more compared to the other front fender. I can still secure my ebike on top of the front/rear tires on my Saris Freedom SuperClamp 4 Platform rack. The the new Radrover full fenders may or may not work that well with platform racks that secure on top of the tires (might need a platform rack that secures on the downtube).

Not in Canada. :(

Do you think I could order from the US site?

If 10/08 9 am PST fender availability date might go just like with the ebikes that were back ordered? On sell at 9 am and sold out at 9:03 am. I was at my computer at work hitting refresh constantly a few minutes before my 9am availability time for my wife's Radcity Step-Thru waiting to drop the ebike in my cart.
