Seems heavy for a folder.

What kind of storage tub are you using? I've been looking around and the biggest tubs that I've seen are only 18" wide and I wasn't sure if the Radmini would fit into one.I have a 2019 Rad Mini Step Thru and this is the way I store and transport the bike in my Subaru Forester. I can lift it into the SUV with no problem.

4 months later and we are where you were. We are in our middle 60s and have a Ram1500. We just bought 2 minis. I see the bin idea as a possibility. We just purchased two Rad Mini Step Thru's knowing the 68 lbs. was not to be a concern for me. I fold them and put then in the back of our new Ram 1500 without any trouble, I don't even remove the battery. I'm 74 YOA and weigh in at a cool 235 lbs. , now for some this maybe a problem, but after riding dual sport motorcycles for the last 50 years this ebike is light weight for me. I do realize that for some the weight is heavy and I fully understand that, but for others it is not. I can also say here that I have not ridden bicycles since I was a kid and bicycles are not part of my daily life style, we purchased these ebikes to take RVing with us and to extend our travel beyond the camping grounds and so far they are doing the job very will. So what works for one may not work for the other, I personally like the feel of the Rad Mini, so that's why we own two of them.
Is that rear rack from a Rad Rover? It looks HIGH. I have a mini now, and still have the rack from my previous Rover, but it seems too high on the Mini. I'm still looking for something more appropriate, without buying Rad's rack.I have a 2019 Rad Mini Step Thru and this is the way I store and transport the bike in my Subaru Forester. I don't know if they use the same rack for the Rad Rover, but this was listed on Rad's website as the right one for the Rad Mini...Is that rear rack from a Rad Rover? It looks HIGH. I've got one. It's definitely heavy. That is both a pro and a con.Seems heavy for a folder.
Wait, I'm a "New Member"?!I've got one. It's definitely heavy. That is both a pro and a con.
Pro: It's a freaking tank. It's a folding bike, but compared to my other folder, this one is rigid, strong, doesn't flex, and rides like a full size bike. It has amazing cargo capacity due to it's available thick, heavy racks and strong mounting points. The fat tires help it handle extra weight like a passenger or cargo, and ride like a taller tire.
Con: Though it folds, This is NOT a compact folded bike, as many others are. It remains long when folded, and also very wide. I shopped for bags to pack it, and there are numerous folding-bike bags on Amazon - NONE that will fit this bike. It is also about as long as a regular bike when unfolded.
I fit this bike under a desk in my apartment. It works for storing it there, but it still sticks out a fair bit. OTOH, it tucks away MUCH better than a full-sized bike, yet still rides like one. Don't buy this bike if you will often need it to carry it around by hand folded, or up and down stairs frequently.
