Questions/thoughts on the new Bosch motors

Hi all,

So the new bosch motors look very appealing, but I am worried about buying a new product on year 1.

Say a car gets fully redesigned; the smart buyer would wait a few years to let them get out all the kinks.

Could we expect the same with the new bosch?

Also, when will these motors hit the USA?

With the whole eBike industry generally in a juvenile state, long term experience with a lot of components is uncommon. So a first year avoidance practice would really limit growth. A 2 year warranty with a proven company would give me confidence.

I agree with rich c. Bosch is a reputable company with a great warranty. I don't see a lot of risk. I say go for it. Some of the MOST expensive ebikes on the market have a Bosch motor. ?
