Problem after replacement of Purion controller on Bosch CX

Hi, I've just replaced the Purion controller on a Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro e-MTB after it got damaged. Everything seemed to go fine with the replacement and the new display worked correctly when plugged in to the drive unit with the bike partially disassembled. I then reassembled the bike and now the Purion display, when turned on, flashes information briefly, then the light flashes several times, then flashes information again for a second and then turns off. I have tried reassembling a few times and also tried different batteries. If I unplug the Purion display and plug it into a drive unit on a different bike it works fine.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before and can advise on where the problem may lie, I have tried everything I can think of.

Many thanks. Jon

An update to this issue. I left the battery in the bike overnight and this morning the display started perfectly. Just been for a test ride and everything seems to be working fine. I have no idea why.

To answer this, in case anyone else sees something similar. Using the Bosch diagnostics software I found the following errors on the Drive Unit:

Error codes

0x5B111F Internal Drive Unit software error

⇒ motor support is switched off

0x500106 Internal Drive Unit software error

=> no motor support

0x50012E Internal Drive Unit software error

⇒ motor support is switched off

0x500117 Internal Drive Unit software error

⇒ motor support is switched off

0x500115 Internal Drive Unit software error

⇒ motor support is switched off

An update of the software for the drive unit seems to have solved the problem.
