Posture help needed!

Good point for the more aggressive riders such as road racers and others whose riding position has them leaning forward. However, on the OP's LECTRIC bike as well as many more casual bikes with handlebars higher than the seat (like my Trek Verve) it seems we are actually sitting on the bike moreso than "riding" the bike. I know I am more comfortable sitting more upright than leaning forward when I am riding casually. If I were racing or climbing a hill and had to apply more pedal pressure I'd probably benefit from leaning forward and pulling against the handlebar to enable me to generate that extra pedal power. But with my e-bike I simply select a mode with more assist as needed on how to correct posture. I'll have to try reducing the downward force to see if that might help relive some of the pressure on my butt and tailbone.
You should raise your seat so your legs are slightly bent at the bottom of the pedal stroke, level or tilt the seat slightly nose-down, and make sure your sit bones carry most of your weight. Lowering the handlebars slightly can also help. Wear padded cycling shorts or add a gel seat cover, and start with shorter rides to let your body adjust.
 
Ugh. I feel your pain!
Before (what may be) a long period of saddle trial and error, the cost and frustration of which accumulates, consider this. I've been on it for thousands of miles now (after decades of chasing saddles and systems) and find it to be the holy grail for me. No padded underwear needed. Works precisely as described. I ride two hours and 20 to 30 miles daily and when a slight discomfort begins (at mile 20) I stand up on the pedals for 10 seconds and I'm good for much more. The narrower the better.
