The Stepthrough comes with a very small display. Recognize it does provide much valuable information. But, given size, polarized glasses, glare and yes my age (74), It's impossible to read without stopping and putting on cheaters.
I solved this nicely with a $11 phone mount and a $1.15 GPS speedometer app by Cool Niks. Granted there are many alternatives but this one has +1m downloads and rated 4.8 by 26k. The app has a wide array of features, offers a very large speed display and links to Google's Maps to provide on-screen bike path maps/directions.
