Pedro's? Degreaser 13 or Oranj Peelz?

I need to purchase some maintenance supplies for my Specialized Vado SL. I hadn't anticipated putting so many miles on so quickly and I am caught empty handed.

I am considering buying the "Chain Pig" chain cleaner. I guess that I will need a 3 way hex wrench/spanner to put on the crank so that I can crank backwards on the Vado SL?
I am looking at Pedro's degreasers....and I am leaning towards the "Degreaser 13" instead of the "Oranj Peelz" since it seems that the Oranj Peelz doesn't play well with plastics, rubbers, and paints (I tend to be sloppy) so the Degreaser 13 seems like a safer bet.

What say you? Any expertise appreciated.

Personally, I use Rock 'n' Roll chain lube, which both cleans and lubes the chain. I usually apply the lube after every third ride, and once a month I take the chain off, soak it in solent, rinse it in soapy water, then water, then let dry. When dry I apply R & R and carry on riding.

My "biker buddy" recommended the same and I have already ordered it. Perhaps I am confused. I had thought that this Rock n Roll Absolute Dry Chain Lubricant (which is what I have ordered) serves as an after cleaning lubrication? Are you suggesting that I do not need to brush clean my chain at all?

I guess if you're the kind of person who uses a combination Shampoo & Conditioner for your hair the clean and lubes have appeal, but for me the two properties are different enough for me to continue to use separate cleaners and lubricators.

For cleaning I use Clean Streak, which has this handy setup for chains:
and you can use the can itself for cleaning just about anything else as it doesn't hurt plastics.

For chain lubrication I use NSF (NixFrixShun), which is available here:

Chain lubrication is a religion for some people.

Thank you. Gosh there are a lot of clean and lube products on the market.

@mfgrep: To degrease the chain, just buy a big can of automotive Brake Cleaner. Makes miracles, especially on the cassette :)
Cheap, effective.

For $5 more, a can of Clean Streak is specifically designed for bicycles and won't harm your paint or plastic bits. And if you buy it with the reservoir/brush thing, the runoff is fairly neatly contained and the brushes help the spray's action.

For most combos I'd agree (i.e. weed & feed grass fertilizer), but I've read enough on this product to come to the conclusion that it works well.
I do plan on trying Slica's waxing kit on my carbon road bike, though.

Clean Streak works well. Not a big fan of the plastic attachment that adds $10 to the price and broke maybe the 3rd time I used it.
