Pear control speed chip question.

Hello everyone,

I have bought a pear control speedchip for my ebike with a Brosse motor. However I don’t understand how the chip lock works. It says you have a normal chip lock and a fast chip lock. But to get to the “fast” chip lock you have to press more buttons. So what’s fast about it?

Someone with the same speedchip, who can give me some clear instructions on how to install the chipclock;)

I own an older PearTune chip for SL bikes, and the concept was not known to me. According to the page you have shown, chip lock is to disable the activation of the chip. For instance, you see you would be stopped by the police for inspection. If you lock the chip, the policeman won't be able to activate the chip to prove you are riding an illegal e-bike. Does that sound right to you?
