The American Flyer E Wave S looks like it uses the same frames, batteries, and motor as the Juiced OceanCurrent but costs $100 more sold through CA or AZ dealers who sell similar styled pedal bicycle cruiser frames. The specs don't mention a torque sensor, only a cadence sensor, but it has the same 104 pulse rate and three bolts above the rear drive side drop-out where the sensor is located so probably is in fact the same.

interesting.... i guess that's what happens when you make stuff in China? IP isn't sacred.....or Juiced is licensing out as a re-brand? but damn....

Can't remember where I saw it but I have seen the same bike for 900 and something dollars brand new. Same exact bike as the ocean current under a different brand. Something stinks about that.

They look pretty similar. I don't know how many of the components are identical, but the frame is different. You can tell by the space where the top tube and down tube meet. The Wave has a larger gap.

Same bike, same specs, can't tell by the picture but I guarantee it's the same freaking bike but who cares. You can't say what's on your mind on this forum because the forum goddess threatens to shut ya down, LMAO. It's a joke.

American Flyer is a legit re-branded Ocean Current.
They have a business contract with Juiced to make these bikes and sell them in their local market. Same bike as ocean current but different name. E-bikes are not rocket science and it is actually nice of Tora to make these bikes for other small companies.

Don't think Tora has any say in the matter, he can't make em for his own company.

I can say he is incredibly patient. If I owned any company, I would refund you fully and ask you to not dirty each and every thread with same complaint.
@Tora Harris , please give this guy a full refund and take his bike back. It must be supper annoying to see this crap every time you open the website.

Just call em like I see em. I thought this was an open site, freedom of speech and all that. My bad, we'll see in the end.

Nice to know but until there is some sort of press release or confirmation from Juiced / Tora I would take this with a gain of salt.

Could be true but I've known dealers to give conflicting or not entirely accurate info.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Talked to a bike shop employee who used to work at a store that sold Juiced. I don't quite understand what he said, but something like that Juiced eliminated it's dealer network and sells retail only through AF.

Maybe it wanted to protect it's profit margins and sell direct online, and then sell for more in retail channels? Still, the bike only costs $100 more according to the AF site, presumably via retail where you'd get more support.
