Not so sure about the buttons on the top and bottom, @eddie J but the big numbers & letters are great. Like the overall compact size and bigger buttons on the left side; easy to reach and probably less likely to get smashed if (or when ) you go down. Is this display easily removed?
Just an FYI guys. The Purion is not removable and it does not allow for charging of external devices. It also doesn't have an internal battery so there is no concern about the display battery dying like the Intuvia.
The Purion will be backward compatible as long as the drive unit has the latest updated software.
I have also never heard of Intuvia going flat, but then mine doesn't sit around long enough for that.
I'm still leaning towards buying two Purion systems though, as for my use, the benefit for off road use outweigh not being able to remove the system.
Having said that, bike security is clearly a major concern for anyone, and being able to remove a display goes a long way towards that. I think that is an oversite on the part of Bosch that it isn't removable.
